ARCH Program

WHAT: Our ARCH (Advocacy, Relationship, Case Management in High Schools) Program assists homeless high school students with a wide range of services. Case managers help students obtain birth certificates, Social Security cards, Medicaid coverage, TANF/WIC, bus passes, and other important services. They provide educational assistance by helping with financial aid forms, taking students on college visits, and helping to apply for scholarships. Our ARCH staff champion youth towards graduation and beyond, journeying through life experiences with them.

WHERE: We operate in all IPS high schools, Pike High School, Washington Township high schools, and Lawrence Township high schools.

WHEN: During and after school hours.

Program Centers

At our Program Centers, youth can take showers, do laundry, eat, use computers, and spend time with staff and friends. We also offer lunch bags, clothing, and hygiene items. Outreach staff are on hand to assist with individual needs such as transportation, social skills, medical appointments, and job interviews. We offer young people the opportunity to work towards long-term goals such as obtaining housing, finding employment, working through educational issues, and dealing with legal issues.

We have two Program Centers available.
